CNC Salon - 12/20/24

Our 2nd CNC Salon will be next Friday 12/20. The plan is to meet at Buddy’s Burgers (now with thin mint shakes!) at 5:30 pm for food and fellowship.

I have both CNCs reserved 630-930 for us to play on. Our project this month is house signs - think of something you might have outside your front door. I know that I need a new “no soliciting” sign to deter all the roofing companies…

See below for a quick mockup I just came up with. You can customize to meet your needs (I will help you with design if you need) and then we will cut and paint. I will have large masking tape and Oramask available as well as some various spray paint colors.

I designed mine to be built with a $3.48 cedar fence picket from Home Depot. You can choose any size/shape you want and we will help you make it happen. If you want me to pick you up a fence picket at HD while I am grabbing mine next week let me know.

This event open to all - members/non-members/CNC savants and those who don’t even know what a CNC is. Come join us!!

For those so inclined, an after CNC Saloon will also be happening this month at a local watering hole.

I won’t be working that day, so I’ll be on time, this time. I don’t have any ideas for a house sign, though, I’ll have to think on that…

Not sure if I can make it again this time but generated some “scrap” today that would work great for this project.
