So as I’ve posted in other topics, my wife is a maker of various goods with woven and leather textiles. Recently I helped expand her approach to leather coaster by CNCing patterns into acrylic for stamps and then to getting to finer detail lasering the stamps out in acrylic. Given my tech background, I’ve wanted a good use case to work with AI beyond seeing what my cat would look like as an astronaut and other work related uses. So the past week or so I’ve developed a Custom Coaster Design Tool in Claude in order to generate custom orders. I think it’s pretty cool, it’s my ideas and Claude’s coding ability. The app has many user-friendly features on both desktop and mobile. The app sends me all relevant information as well as PNG preview and SVG output that is easily put into Lightburn with only needing minor sizing adjustments. For those who might be interested in testing. I worked through with Claude on developing tester forms(not sure I should use AI assistance to confirm AI accuracy). So I have a PDF that has 32-pages with 30 possible test scenarios submissions. I’m asking those who are interested, to choose and complete any 10 test submission in exchange for 4 custom coasters from a future design they’ll submit and I’ll make for them. I’ll send you the pdf upon request so I can keep track of my testers.
