Champion 3100W Generator - extended run - $350

Anyone looking for a generator?

This Champion 3100W Inverter generator has been modified to run off of an external marine tank. The external tank and hose is included, along with another 5 gallon gas can. Hooked up to the 6 gallon tank, it can run for over 24 hours. It can also still run on the internal tank, but only for about 6-8 hours.

I keep the oil changed, and have only run Royal Purple full synthetic oil in it. I have a spare fuel line filter, spare fuel fittings for external fuel line, and a spare pump. The pump has never had to be changed 7 years, but I kept a spare because it’s not going to fail at home.
Pinellas sells the mod kits for $277 - here - Champion 3100 Extended Run Time Fuel Kit with Internal fuel pump
My fuel modification includes a right angle fitting to make the fuel inlet stay close to the generator, making it safer to load and travel with. FWIW, the fuel connection is on the air intake side, not the exhaust side.

Included:
Champion 3100W Inverter generator, modified with external fuel inlet
6 gallon marine fuel tank
Fuel hose with priming pump
Spare fittings, filters, pumps
5 Gallon plastic no vapor gas can

I’ll take it. We just finished camping at Burning Flipside a week ago. I chose to make it a two night stay this year instead of four nights due to the tremendous heat. I usually have a foam yurt and window AC unit to keep cool. I need to up my game with a second gen set and AC unit. And maybe a larger communal yurt. I’ll DM you.

Awesome. This generator is a veteran of Flip side, Freezerburn and Burnt Soup.

And now also a veteran of at least one tropical cyclone. I took the generator down to Brazoria two days after hurricane Baryl landed. It was a category 1 with 80-90 mph sustained winds. A few big trees down, power out, but less damage than I expected. I was not there but neighbors said it literally sounded like a freight train. The genset did great btw.
