If you’ve been even slightly curious about our space behind the glass double doors, perhaps peering through the window into our kiln room wondering “what if this is the year?”, this upcoming Tuesday (1/6) 6-8pm is for you! For us!
Asmbly Ceramics has it’s monthly Volunteer night this Tuesday 6-8pm and we’ve got work to do! I’ve always found that it’s easiest to get comfortable in a new shop by snooping around during a volunteer work day, putting in a little sweat equity, and seeing how the machines and spaces work in real time. This could be the year you make your own tableware! A yard sculpture! A water garden! Plant pots! Your new favorite mug! The options are endless
We need help maintaining our wheels, flipping some of the tabletops in the workspace (hey, woodshop!), cleaning our clay traps, testing SG for our glazes, and mopping up the floors! Please come join us, even if you’re just the least bit curious about our space & want to chat about out. I’ll be here for it!
