The Kiln-Ops team has been busting their butts to try something most other ceramics studios in the area have not tried: tracking and notification of your work when it’s fired.
While the result is awesome, in that it saves our members from having to guess when their work is complete, it also has a number challenges in tracking each piece. The challenges grow when the technical side has issues, which is what our team has been experiencing recently.
We’re committed to holding ourselves to a high standard and want to ensure excellence in what we do. We’ve made the decision to temporarily suspend notification efforts as of today while we work to setup a better internal tracking tool and process.
What this means for today: Continue using the paper slips so projects can be physically tracked. Notification emails will no longer go out for the time being.
Asmbly Ceramics opened March 1st of this year, we have more than 50 members in the studio, and we’re continuing to grow and adapt. Thank you all for your patience and especially to those volunteering to help make our studio a great place to make things!
