Ceiling water leak by vacuum table

Hey all, I’m not sure if this has been reported already but there is some water dripping from what looks like the AC condenser that’s over the vacuum table/dust collection area.

Thanks for reporting this @DirtHurt

Yes, thank you! I passed it along in our steward Slack channel to notify more people. If you haven’t already, can you put a trash can under the spot where it is leaking?

turn off the ac if you haven’t already. I believe that tube hanging out of the drip tray is meant to be a siphon to empty it into the sink nearby

It’s not long enough to siphon to the sink, only to a bucket or trash can (but most of the latter have holes somewhere!), and it’s a messy job.

The tube wont reach to the sink. I usually siphon it into one of the blue recycling bins. Need the tall orange ladder to do it.
I cant come up there today, but will try tomorrow if no one has cleared it.

I am having this same trouble in my house, very frustrating! I have had to shop vac out and run vinegar down the drain pipes several times but bacteria keep growing back and clogging it. Gross!

Maybe try bleach?

Only problem is the outlet is right over my driveway so I might stain the driveway with bleach

It’s not actually clogging; something in the setup of that unit is different than the other three, and it is causing back pressure on the normal drain when the air filter gets clogged – and it clogs fast since it sits above the dust collector. James knows the details but hasn’t figured a workaround yet. In the meantime, I may do something to make it easier to drain at least (but I can’t get up there for several hours).

I taped up the side I think is causing the vacuum situation, but needed to apply more once it dried.
