I borrowed a metal furnace from one of our members and I am going to try sand casting copper out in the parking lot behind the welding door. I mentioned it to a couple people and they seemed to show interest in seeing what happens. If anyone wants to come hang out while I am working on it, I was thinking of doing it Wednesday Jan 10th around 12pm. I’ll update this thread as well with the results if it works. I’ve watched lots of videos, but if you have any tips please share!

Thank you to everyone who gave me such great advice and came to watch! It was so much fun and I’m going to try again in a few months with lost wax casting. If you want to see how it went here is a little video!
