Can I temporarily raise the height of an MFT table?

I think if someone saw me do this they might question the safety so I’m asking out loud first:

Can I setup some sort of jack stand situation to lift the MFT table up temporarily while I make a few cuts? I need to cut a long vertical piece of wood using the Shaper Workstation but the MFT is ~4" short of accommodating such a long piece.

I’m thinking a 2"x4" sitting on a 2"x10" on either end of the table should lift it up enough without negatively impacting the bench’s stability.

Would this be acceptable?

As long at it’s stable and you return it, I think that that’s fine.
