Can I temporarily move the jointer?

Is there way to temporarily make more space at the jointer outfeed? I’m working with 12’ stock today, not wanting to make too many waves in the shop.

I think you already figured it out, but for anyone else wondering—the easiest way to handle long material like this is to move the router table. It is on caster wheels, unlike the jointer and planer.

Dumb question, do you really need 12’ stock? The effective optimal length of stock of any jointer is the length of the outfeed table times two. Anything over that, chances are you are not going to get a true straight edge or flat board. 12’ stock is over the technical specs of the Asmbly jointer. Also the dust collector hose/electrical cordwill prevent you from moving it too far.
