The air compressor in the metal shop turned off again after I was doing some machining on the Tormach using air for cooling. It seems like this is an ongoing issue and I don’t see a resolution in the near future.
So could I just bring my own air compressor in and hook it up to the Tormach? I have hoses and quick connects and fittings. It is of course louder than the main one but I’m usually the only one in the metal shop anyway.

Yes, you can. In fact, we were looking at bringing in some additional small backup compressors if this problem continues.
That said, I think I may have solved the main compressor issue. It’s on again currently; time will tell.
I am increasingly confident that the compressor issue is resolved.
That’s awesome to hear! I will probably still bring my compressor with me next time I come just in case because it isn’t very big, but thank you a ton for fixing the quiet compressor
