Hey All, I’m working on a live edge wood slab project that requires a brass dovetail key inlay, and a roughly 7”x11” oval shaped brass plate that will be inlayed to cover a large hole in the slab - I’m wondering if anyone, especially in the metal shop, would be up for being paid to help me cut these components out of 1/8” thick brass plate? Or let me know if you know anyone outside of Asmbly that would be ideal. I know little of metalworking, but I assume some of our equipment would be suitable for making these cuts?
Additionally, if anyone is experienced in turning brass on a lathe & brazing brass - please let me know. for another project I need to come up with custom tipping rails (rails along the front of kitchen shelving to keep items from falling off) for 6 shelves. As with my other needs, I would be paying for your work.
