Belt needs stability on C axis?

Hi all! The belt on the far side of the X axis was hanging loose off the CNC when I came in today. I don’t know if this is problematic or not.

I was thinking we can either trim the white acrylic wing down an inch so it doesn’t interfere with the spindle house like it used to, or we can take the metal plates off the acrylic and reinstall them as a small buffer to keep the belt stable.

What do y’all think? I can do either option while at the shop today. I would beed a recommendation on the best way to cut the acrylic if we want to do that.

I would just place the drag chain back on the extrusion. I removed the fence to get more clearance for the flycutting.
