Austin has officially moved to Stage 2, which means masks at Asmbly are now optional for those who are fully vaccinated.
Please continue to respect your fellow makers by maintaining distance and having sensitivity towards those who continue masking. You never know what someone’s situation/reasons for masking are – who they’ve lost, their risk tolerance, health vulnerabilities, compromised loved ones, etc.
Also keep in mind there are many areas at Asmbly where it’s just smart to wear a mask. We’re working on better dust control in the main shop, but as it stands there is a lot of very fine dust generated in this space. Wearing a mask or respirator keeps your lungs safe!
