So i just saw something called the austin THRIVE grant. Not sure if i can link it, but it looks like something that Assembly would qualify for if the person who manages the non profit part is able to do it in time. I literally found this group of grants at midnight and the submision deadline is july 23.
Thrive | AustinTexas.gov is the website
Thank you for flagging this @MoonLitRose! It’s a tight deadline, but we’ll definitely take a look
Thank you again for posting about this grant @MoonLitRose! We looked into the Thrive grant and unfortunately we don’t qualify, however that led us to the Elevate grant which we do meet the requirements for.
Thanks to you bringing this forward, Asmbly just submitted our very first grant application
Huge shoutout to the folks who quickly worked hard to gather everything for this application in less than a week, allowing us to submit just in the nick of time. @mkmiller6 @wdnatx @Jordanva2 this would not have been possible without you!
Notification of awards are towards the end of September. Based on the summary dashboard from last year, we’re optimistic about our odds. I think we submitted a strong application and hopefully we’ll have good news to share this fall. Either way, this definitely got us better prepared for the next grant opportunity, so it’s already a win.
I’m glad to have helped! There is going to be a smaller grant for people who want to start selling at local art markets that, I believe, opens up starting July 30th
