A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made it happen

  • Those who picked up food

  • Those who helped set up and clean up

  • Those who prepped clay the day before

We surpassed our goal with 124 bowls made in just 3 hours!

  • Thrown bowls, coil builds, and we even had a slump-molded surprise!

Participants: 25 total, with 22 active makers
Bowls created so far: 124

Amazing job everyone!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: Thank you for leading the event and sharing these stats @JasonSoll! Let’s keep it going for the next ones :teamwork:

:package: I’ll keep an eye out at home for boxes that fit the specs needed. I also have an obscene amount of packing material

Would banana boxes from a grocery store work? They’re heavy duty, have a fitted top and cut out handles. They’re my favorite box for moving stuff. They’re approximately 20” long x 15” wide x 10” tall

I think that would work as well. They will be easily carried and stacked.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Asmbly’s participation in this year’s Austin Empty Bowl Project possible! Thanks to your efforts, we delivered 118 bowls to the project this past Friday, November 14.

The main event will be held on Sunday November 23rd from 11am - 3pm, at the Central Texas Food Bank (6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, TX 78744). We’re excited to see the community come together for this wonderful cause.
