I was seeking a link to the discourse section of ASMBLY and took a closer look at the images on the HOME page. A fundamental principle of wood carving is to apply pressure to a tool so that if the tools slips, the sharp edge will go away from any part of your body you don’t want injured - like a hand that is holding the piece you’re working on. Highlighting “No experience necessary” and showing THIS image might send the wrong message about what I think we want to stress - safety.
Others may feel differently but that’s my 2 cents.

Very true. Definitely open to other images, we just didn’t have a lot of stock images related to what we do to choose from. We’re planning for a website revamp and full rebrand this year, but could definitely make small tweaks like photo updates beforehand if people have high quality stock photos that would be more appropriate.
