Are you the Key Maker?

The key to a few of our paper towel dispensers has gone missing. If you need to change the paper towels, you can get two Allen wrenches or other small similar non-pointy-but-still-pokey objects that can pop the lid open.

I could order new ones (and I may just for backup), but I also wanted to ask if there’s any “keymakers” here that can absolutely over-engineer a key solution for these dispensers. It can be made of any material so long as it’s durable.

It’s gotta be easy to use, and perform the basic functions of a key… opening this dispenser.

Any of these look right? If so, let me know which and I can print several and bring them to the space tomorrow.

Otherwise, knowing the make/model would be helpful.

Otherwise otherwise, I can take some measurements tomorrow afternoon when I’m in the space and make something.

These two look close. But I’m not completely sure. The measurements might be “key” to get here. Seems there’s a lot of variations.

I’ll post the make / model, anything else I can find tomorrow

I printed a few of those and will bring them with me to the shop around 2. If they don’t work, I’ll take some measurements

This looks like a job for the fiber laser

The ones I printed worked ok. I velcroed them to the front of three of those dispensers. I’ll print a few more for the rest and bring them next time I’m in.
