Anyone fab with carbon fiber or fiberglass?

I’m interested in learning more about both. I have a very small job queued right now — the sports car I’m working on has two fiberglass panels that attach to the t-tops to block sunlight (like a manually-mounted sunroof shade). Both are lightly cracked and frayed, and I’d like to push some new epoxy through them using a vac bag system, and possibly clad them with a layer of CF.

I’d love to trade tool time, car maintenance teaching time, or labor with anyone who works on CF or fiberglass outside of Asmbly.

I’ve built a boat with fiberglass/epoxy. I’ve also worked with Coosaboard, G10 (compressed fiberglass) and epoxy and have built batteries using flame retardant Garolite G10/FR4. There are different types of epoxy, most are not UV treated and will degrade with sunlight after 6 months.
