Anyone certified available to help with sanding a wood project?

Hello.

I am making an end-grain cutting board. It will have about 2 inch thickness of various types of hardwood. I need to use the large digital sander in the woodshop (I forget if it’s called a drum sander or a wide-belt sander or something else.) I was informed this machine requires certification.

Would anyone certified be available on Sunday 3/2 or Monday 3/3 to help with this? I’m quite flexible and happy to work with your schedule. I can pay a fee for your friendly help, or offer to bake you something, or help return the favor in another way!

Hello!

In case you want to get the sign off to use the machine yourself, at the time of writing there are 2 spots left in the Stationary Sanders class on March 3rd.

It is roughly 1 hour to 1.5 hrs long and will ensure you know how to operate the machine safely and effectively.
