Angle Grinders…

The angle grinders and all related items have a new home, on this shelf:

There is supposed to be a third angle grinder, a battery powered Ryobi, but it is MIA. Let me know if you know what happened to it.

I’m not seeing a wide variety of angle grinder discs. I’ll try to get a few more; let me know if you have suggestions for what types to get.

I only use the flap wheels. I don’t care for the stone type. They are unbalanced and don’t give a good finish

Disc are considered consumables and should be brought with the user.

I was wondering if that might be the case, but I think we should at least keep a couple of cutting discs on hand. Quick cutting tasks can come up unplanned. And even I, with the 12 tool bins always in my car, don’t keep angle grinder discs with me.

Whether something is a consumable is really a question of time scale. I go through drill bits and taps faster than I do grinder discs, but we provide the former. Everything is a consumable eventually.

Anyone seen a rigid diamond cut-off wheel around? I accidentally left one on the Makita and it was gone next time I was there. :frowning:
