Don’t expect it to happen very often, but this morning I exited the metal shop to use the restroom, and an Amazon delivery person was banging on the door. I signed for the package and placed it on the desk in the lobby.
It was for Natanael.
I went through all this in my head: Ignore the Amazon person, tell person to go away, tell person that intended was not present. It would likely be a hassle for Natanael to get the package delivered again…
What, in your opinion, would be the best way to handle it?
I do not know where the package storage is. I’m usually only there in the early morning hours, so there’s no one to ask.
ALSO, since this is an Always situation, is there a doorbell that the delivery persons know to ring? Do they know to go to the North West corner of the building? If there isn’t a door bell, should there be?
Ethan, I (think I) sent you my contact information concerning working on the Shear, Brake and Roll. I haven’t heard, so I am worried that I didn’t understand the Discourse System, and my message never got to you. (Know you’re busy. No hurry).
Thank you for accepting the package. It likely contained supplies for the robotic arm class I teach at Asmbly, for which I often run low on at least one part.
Happy to have done so. My main worry was not knowing how to notify the addressee, or where to put the package after accepting it. Still don’t know where the package storage area is.
To Michael → I don’t think he rang the doorbell. I happened to be at the right place at the right time.
I think the doorbell might be having issues. Once, I went to check the entrance because no one had arrived for class, and found two people waiting. They said they rang, but I never heard it while I was in the MPR.
