Allen wrenches on the tool wall

In the last year, I have purchased three different sets of Alan wrenches that have all gone missing. They are the kind that were all in one convenient handle, like a Swiss knife, and had a Tool Wall label.

Additionally, there were some set split individual Allen wrenches.

If you see these, please return them to the bin.

Ticket on another note, I don’t like these storage bins and what loaf it. If someone could help with a little scrap project. Something that has a dedicated hole or each size allen wrench that we want to keep on hand. It would be fine if it fits within this box, or in another size box, so long as he fits on the tool wall.

Similar to how the forstner bit box is set up.

There’s a bunch of scrap available right now (large 1/2 MDF panels) and if anyone feels like tackling a much needed organizational project around the shop, please do!

I’m happy to keep a set on hand to fill the holes, but I’m reluctant to buy more as they keep going missing

What brand were the all-in-one sets? I have some craftsmen ones, want to make sure I didn’t grab one by accident.

Does harbor freight have another brand other than Pittsburgh? I bought those once, but I think I bought different sets, not called Pittsburgh the second time.

It’s possible/likely some ended up in the metal shop; I’ll look at what we have.

I think I remember @jamesfreeman saying he also bought one and left it at Asmbly

I’ve found a set in the router table drawers before as well; maybe another spot to check.

For machines that want a specific Allen key to adjust something, I really appreciate having one on a short chain attached to the machine (same for chuck keys and specific wrenches). That might cut down on people borrowing sets and forgetting to return them.
