i’m not doing very well figuring out how many calendars there are or how to view them best. when i click inthr link here iOS brings me to my google calendar (which i don’t actually use every much since i use iOS calendar) and it simply shows me the other google based (or whatever) calendars i subscribed to (they are here in part because i couldn’t figure out if i could add them to my iOS calendar).
anyway an admittedly brief google search seems to indicate i could add a URL (which is not listed) or - let’s see - or i could add it via an email address?
anyway can anyone help me with A. how many ASMBLY calendars are there (events, SIG, classes etc?) but also can anyone help me plunk though adding some or all to my google calendar (or iOS calendar if i want)?
Our events calendar has everything except classes on it (we don’t currently have a class calendar you can integrate into your personal calendar, but that’s good to know there’s interest!).
If not, you can add it to your Google account and add that to your iOS calendar to get it on there (that’s what I do for all my various Google accounts to get all of them integrated into my iOS calendar). Looks like this walk thru shows the right steps for that.
That URL works for adding to a google calendar. In the google calendar settings I found an iCal link that it won’t let me share here. But that link worked to add directly to my iPhone calendar.
hi valerie. thank you. it’s always hard to know if it’s just me or some setting in my device or some other problem but your first link got me to my google calendar with no apparent way to add or see the ASMBLY calendar? which is kind of why i started the thread.
julie am i missing a step? i kind of like the idea of keeping these “event calendars” in google separate from my personal iOS calendar since it will clutter my personal calendar and it won’t be clear when it is an event i actually have to be at (as opposed to telling me something is happening that i could attend). i mean i don’t know a better way to manage this issue.
but first step is to see the ASMBLY calendar in google i guess and all i see is this when i click on my original link?
