Has anyone worked with reflective acrylic before? They look like mirrors but are made of acrylic instead of glass. Can they be used in the big lasers without issue for engraving and cutting?
If so, does anyone know where I can find them locally or online (I found some on Ali Express but will take like a month to ship)
Thanks!
Anggie
Below a product from Amazon for what I am looking the end result to be - it didn’t let me add a pic or a link on this post.

Houston Acrylics ships very quickly but you’ll pay for the shipping. I recommend trying to find a place that has it locally.
re: cutting. The mirror finish is one sided so you could cut it face down. The face has a matte protective film on it, which I think would prevent issues.
A good method to try out would be to etch the acrylic while the protective paper is still adhered to it. Then spray paint the acrylic exposed by the etching before you remove the film.
Up vote for mirrored acrylic from Houston Acrylic (here are all their 1/8" mirrored acrylics; they also have a few 1/16" ones). I’ve used a lot of the different colors they have and all have been great. @Iammikecohen’s tip for make your etches colored is a really good one. I would also recommend masking the mirrored side. I recently found this made a huge difference in the quality of the cut edges. Top one shown below was not masked on the mirror side, bottom one was masked (with 3M backed because I needed to stick it on something afterwards anyway).
