I was in Monday to use the abrasive cabinet but was unsuccessful in getting any sand out of the nozzle. I made a maintenance ticket but wasn’t sure if it had been looked into yet. Was hoping to use it tomorrow but will resort to the wire wheel again if necessary haha.
Alternatively, if someone is familiar with the blast cabinet and can run me through any fault isolation techniques, I’ll be in the metal shop tomorrow afternoon and am happy to learn how to help maintain the equipment!
Someone used an alternative abrasive without cleaning it out properly and clogged the system. No one who knows how to clean it out has had time to address this. We have new abrasive to refill it on hand. I will try to look into it tomorrow morning, but I’m not fully familiar with it, so no promises.
