When you click the Connect button in Octoprint, the printer resets and goes through the boot sequence again. The other printers only briefly have a progress bar when you Connect.
Differences: the Raspberry Pi on Apollo is a Pi 3, the others are Pi 4s. Apollo was hard to flash with the latest firmware.
Things to try:
Connect the Pi from Hermes to Apollo and see if it works. Do we have a long enough USB A-B cable?
Reinstall Octoprint on that Pi (We should do this soon anyway, because that one is running an unsupported version of Python)
