A couple of reminders:

  1. This is a recurring problem that I’ve mentioned in class for the last year.
  2. The lathe is still usable when this lever is detached. This is a minor inconvenience.
  3. Therefore, you should check with a steward before red-tagging something. Someone put a red tag on this that was not needed.

I’ll try to get to this today or tomorrow. A long term fix would be nice, but it’s actually rather complex

Fixed, but not as firmly as I’d like. A permanent solution is still elusive.

Incidentally, the set screws were fine. They’re doubled, as a jam device. It just worked loose, as it always does.
