Found the Spur Drive lodged in the tailstock. I removed it with a forceful hit with the knockout bar.

I also noticed there’s a little lock piece missing from the quill, which is why the person would be able to backout the quill and pull out the spur drive.

  1. Did someone do something with this recently and knows where that locking piece is?
  2. Why use the spur drive in the tailstock? These are meant as work holding and driving in the headstock.
