433mhz RF Receiver and Transmitter with Pi

Hey all,

I’m trying to set up some automations for my powered window blinds and capture their remote’s 433MHz signal. I’ve attempted this a few times without success. If anyone is knowledgeable about RF or Raspberry Pi, I’d love to ask a few questions or get pointed in the right direction.

It might be worth coming to the next electronics office hours on June 14th from 12-2PM. @JohnWickham hosts and there are lots of folks in attendance that may be able to troubleshoot with you.

An out of the box solution (that works with home assistant etc) would be the Bond Bridge. It’s how I control my ceiling fans, LED address signs etc. $110 or so and can copy the signal from any IR/RF remote.
