3D Printer Shuffle! Sunday 1/18 11:30-2:30

After gathering some air quality data (thanks @flowmage!) we’ve decided to swap the positions of the resin printing setup and the Prusa MK3S+s. We’re planning to add active filtration with charcoal filters to the large enclosure, but for now we’re going to start with just moving the resin printers in there.

This Sunday from 11:30am to 2:30 pm is our regularly-scheduled 3D Printer Volunteer Work Day. We’ll focus on this swap, rather than the normal maintenance tasks. Having extra hands to coordinate this would be helpful, so if you’ve been looking for a way to get involved or get some volunteer hours, this would be a good time!

This is today! Come on by!

This is complete. Huge thanks to @flowmage, @Julie, @enformer, @YellowEng, and @PareshPatel for lending a hand!

The resin printers are now arranged in the enclosure. We tried to make the ergonomics as good as we could, but if you see a way to make them better, do it! We’ll be mounting the tools on the window soon.

All of the filament printers except the XL now live on the former resin bench.
