Will we be allowed to only work one day that weekend? Ive already got something signed up for on the 17th.

Great question! In years past we have required both days, but we are working on a shared booth concept that would allow you a way to participate if you’re not able to work both days but still want to vend. I will post more details about that once we have it finalized.

Hey @Jordanva2 - Thank you for putting this together. I wanted to send a quick note that it looks like the link to the booth set up isn’t loading!

Thank you @alex11! I’m working on fixing several of these pages today

OK, got all the pages updated!

(website metadata in that preview was updated as well but the interwebz is being slow on the uptake there)

I don’t think the learn more and apply link is working

Fixed earlier, but just seeing this post. Should be all good now, thanks for mentioning!

You have to be avalible both days?

Hello @MoonLitRose,

I just posted details about a group booth option for those unavailable the whole weekend. You can find more details here. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hey there,

If we already have a store on Etsy and can sell in person using the Square integration do we need to apply for the Texas sales tax ID? Etsy/Stripe takes care of all of those things for me and I would really like to avoid setting up a tax entity.

Yes you do. I understand that etsy remits sales tax but you need to remit and pay your own sales tax for any events like this. Its really easy, free, and it allows you to avoid paying sales tax on your materials if the vendor supports it.

On second thought I am not sure if etsy’s in person sales features remit tax or not. They do charge you etsy fees last I heard so i wouldn’t want to pay a 6.5% commission on my in person sales on top of processing fees.

Thanks for the response, Hanna! And yes @hayek, it is still required to have a Texas Sales Tax ID. It is required for selling, and therefore we must require it at the market. It is easy to sign up for, and at no cost to you. Please let me know if you have any more questions!
