Has this been fixed ? Was the belt off track ?

I’m going back to see if I can figure out what was wrong tomorrow. The belt was off the track, so maybe that was the only issue.

I ran it just now. It seems fine to me.

Jason made some adjustments yesterday. He says the tracking still need adjustment.
The initial thickness sensor setting is quite aggressive.

The initia thickness setting is entirely adjustable — release the jamb nuts then adjust the screw up or down slightly. It’s 20 threads per inch, so it’s only a tenth of a turn to change it by 0.005”. Then carefully retighten the jamb nuts.

(I’m going to replace the small bolt with a sturdier 1/2-20 bolt and proper top and bottom jamb nuts at some point. That should make it a bit easier to adjust.)

Did anyone adjust the thickness setting? Because I had it set to barely make contact with the board. If it’s stiill drifting, then we have another problem to address with that mechanism.
