Dang, just after I got myself some uncooked gloves and filler rod.

Are there any tools available/recommended for freehand sharpening?

I’ll be in the next day or two to look at it, hopefully it’s fixable, last time we were down a tungsten sharpener I took the mid size belt sander from the metal shop and a clean belt with the tungsten in a drill, just make sure it’s a clean belt, wear a face shield, and grind it horizontally against the backplate at an angle if you point the tungsten too much towards the belt it will rip it

Definitely more rattling than usual and I can see the disc has a wobble, however, I don’t see the disc rubbing up against the inside, seems like a bearing going bad but we do have a 2 year warranty on this though so I reached out to them. Seems okay to use for the time being

Should be receiving a new one soon thanks to the warranty- delivery date TBD
