Can you say more about what isn’t working? Are you seeing error messages on the screen? Is anything coming out of the extruder?

I thought I posted this photo. Maybe it didn’t upload.

This was my second attempt. The first time was with single color purple pla on a totally different item.

it never stuck to the plate, and then the filament just started dragging around both times.

The second time, with this filament, I actually pre heated the bed too.

This was my first time using the mk3, so for comparison I booked Sun Wukong. Same filament, same item. Preheated the bed, and it worked perfectly the first time.

I didn’t see any error codes. I stopped the job myself.

There is a sheet on the pegboard behind the printers with the headline “First Layer Problems?” Did you happen to try any of the suggestions?

This printer thinks that the textured sheet is on (Textur1), but actually the satin sheet is on (you can read this in the back of the picture, but it’s a little blurry). The different kinds of sheets have different thicknesses, so the nozzle was being held at the wrong height.

Looks good with the right sheet set

Nope. I sadly didn’t notice it. Thx for pointing it out when I was there. I’m learning from my mistakes, including that I wasn’t observant enough.
