Additional Info: There were some ugly noises on startup and shutdown of the belt today, coming from either the bearing or the shaft on the wall side of the machine. Note that this area was packed with dust when I turned the machine on because the DC gate had gotten stuck closed (which I fixed). I don’t know how serious this is; it might just need cleaning and lubrication after all the dust.

No, I didn’t red tag it. It wasn’t clear how big of an issue this was, so I left it up to woodshop people to decide.
