07/19/25 10:21AM Woodshop - Laguna TFlux 5 Main Shop Dust Collector

Issue type: Equipment Problem
Area: Woodshop
Equipment: Laguna TFlux 5 Main Shop Dust Collector
Summary: TFlux Not Turning On
Additional Info: It seems the ivac system is responding correctly, but the tflux machine is not turning on. I have tried plugging it directly into the power strip, going to the wall and still not turning on.

Disregard that comment about plugging directly into the wall. It is plugged in.

There are no trip breakers

View From the top. I opened up these two panels. No sign of excess dust, burning smells, or charring.

I don’t hear anything. Click when I try to turn the machine on.

On this box, not sure how to open it. Feeling around there’s something that feels loose underneath.

It is accessible from the from panel.

Front panel, continuity test on the power on/off switch seems good.

Found what appears be a ground wire not connected

Someone has finished work on this and called it done.
Thank you for reporting it and helping us keep track of what needs attention.

Ahh the sweet sweet sound of high velocity air sucking.

We’re back in action.

Thanks to @Jeffmc for a little sanity checking and help getting that write back in place and secured.

@atwatsoniii I saw run up here fairly quick before today’s maker showcase to see if he could help as well.

I’m glad this thing is back up and running. In the near future, we will have another solution for this beast.
