Knowledgeable people have declared the press is still fine in its current condition. Unless the complainant is willing to identify themselves to discuss the matter, I have take the word of known experts over an anonymous post.

It is something I’d like to replace eventually as part of creating a comprehensive Bending Area, but it’s not a spending priority now.
I will post a reminder sign that, because it is not covered in the Metal Shop Safety class, it is not to be used without consulting a knowledgeable steward or the area lead. The press’s limitations can be discussed then.
