Issue Type: Equipment Problem
Area: 3D Printing

Summary: Hermes fails to load filament
Additional Info: I tried cleaning the nozzle and the needle passes through. It seems like the printer begins grinding on the filament midway through load.

Did you look at the idler gear to see if it is clean? If there’s a lot of buildup, it won’t feed well.

I went ahead and air sprayed the buildup of purple grinded filament. I think the jam is between the idler gear and the nozzle.

@mdixon4913 reports that he was able to clear the jam.

I fully disassembled the hotend and did a cold pull, then manual extrusion by pushing filament through by hand, then started a Benchy print. It was about 40% done when I left.
