I am a retired academic with a hands-on interest in many things. As might be expected, I am a lifelong learner. I have not joined Asmbly yet; mostly because I am taking classes and completing the various orientations/safety requirements. I do expect to join and start volunteering after the New Year.

We (my wife and I) split our time between living in the Austin area during the colder months and living in northwest lower Michigan when it is warmer. Currently, I spend most of my leisure time doing photography, woodworking, and wood turning, as well as various fitness activities to keep my body moving.
