Expansion help among friends, time for BBQ!

Hello All,

TLDR, BBQ at Asmbly, Nov 9th, at noon.

I can’t begin to thank everyone who helped in working on the Expansion with me. It was a monumental task to accomplish, and we knocked it out of the park. This is by far the largest project I’ve been a part of at Asmbly, and also the most rewarding. Each and every person that helped with this project is the true representation of Asmbly’s most valuable resource, the community. I personally met and worked with more members during this time than any other time, and I’m proud to call many of them new friends. We learned many new skills, and I hope I taught you as much as you taught me. Without you, we couldn’t have accomplished this.

As promised, and later than I intended, I will be putting on a thank you BBQ for all the volunteers than helped with this project. There are to many of you to name on this post, but I hope to see you all there. The plan is to BBQ at Asmbly, Nov 9th, starting at noon. I’ll be bringing my smoker and cooking brisket, turkey and ribs. If you have anything you’d like to bring along, I welcome you. We will have non meat options as well. This is a chance for me to say thank you for all the work y’all did, and very informal in nature. Bring a chair, bring the family or any one else you would like to. My family welcomes yours.

I’d like to take photos of members in the areas they helped build and create a collage to showcase in the expansion. If you’d like to be apart of that, please come by even if you can’t stay for the food.

I’d also like to invite the membership in general. This is a great time to shake hands, tell someone how the new space has helped you out, get inspired and just meet fun people.

The expansion is looking great, and while the bulk of the work is done many small projects will always be on the list. If you ever have free time and are looking to help out, feel free to reach out to the Asmbly team and they’d be happy to have the help.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you have done.
