CNC Workpiece state and Machine State

I’m using the Swift CNC. I have not loaded a program yet. I ran “All Axis Home” but when I try to zero X and Y I get the error: “Error: There is in the machine coordinate state, can’t set the workpiece original, please switch to the workpiece state”. I can zero Z with the puck.
The far right of the display show MAUN and SOFF on the X and Y lines. Is that different?
I have rebooted a couple of times.
Is this something I can fix?
