Someone left a couple of wooden puzzle pieces on top of Tarkin. I very interested in that project, and what type of wood was used.
I did those, using various thick wood scraps I found.
I was shooting for linking together very different materials, wondering about adding thick acrylic etc. Just as an interesting-gathering demonstration, I guess it worked!

The output is a bit difficult though, as it didn’t separate the pieces and a side continues a curve from one piece to another. And there were some tangent points that weren’t part of the piece I needed to cut but deleting them would create a different curve

Maybe make the same puzzle in several different materials and mix the pieces?
