Sorry for the late recap! Monday’s Woodshop volunteer day was very productive thanks to Gem and Kasif (hopefully I spelled that right!).
Between the three of us we:
Reinstalled the blade on the small bandsaw up front (need to check if the red tag was cleared)
cleaned all the shop vacs (one of which was impossibly full, no idea how it even turned on)
cleaned and waxed all the cast iron surfaces
cleaned the table/miter saw blades and cabinets
reinstalled the clock near the back door (though we think it was auto-calibrating to a different time zone, might be connecting to wifi)
did some light cleaning in the lathe area
emptied trash
and even gave the sink a once over
Things left:
we weren’t sure the right way to clean some of the bandsaw blades but there’s at least a fresh one on the front small bandsaw
haven’t checked the downdraft table filter
weren’t sure how to “power wash“ the wide belt sander so we left it
Thanks again for the help Gem and Kasif!

Great write-up! Thank you all for everything you’ve done!
I’ve been looking for an excuse to fold up a bandsaw blade again, if anyone is around while I’m in the building and you’re curious how it works, happy to show you. When I get in later today. I’ll show some photos of where the cleaning materials are at and how those work
