It’s me again, who joined the CNC SIG in June and had a great time. I wanted to share some photos of two new samples (forgive me that I haven’t figured out how to upload a video, so I use screenshots 
) our engineers machined on our current prototype.
We’re still testing and learning, so I’d really welcome honest feedback from people with CNC experience. What do you notice first? What would you want to know about the setup, tooling, surface finish, accuracy, or machining process?
You’re also very welcome to share your own projects or problems you’ve run into—CAM, workholding, tool reach, difficult materials, repeatability, cleanup, or anything else. Real examples and photos are especially helpful. I can take them back to our engineers as case studies and see whether there may be a better way to approach them.
