Small pieces are trash, unless they’re ebony. Put your small scraps in the trash can and take the trash out. Thanks

I’ve been doing fun things with Common Board scrap but we don’t need more.
It’d be nice to play with lasering other wood and small samples are helpful, but only like one or two, and a name would help since discerning the properties but not the name isn’t useful. I’ve hit cedar, mesquite, walnut, padauk, oak, and maple at least.

Both our scrap carts need overhauls and dedicated sections for smaller offcuts of exotic wood where little pieces are more acceptable. The laser scrap bin in particular is especially problematic as it is a bit big for the room. It keeps getting moved out to the lobby which is not an acceptable place for it.
