I’m finding it useful to pause the Tormach in the middle of an operation and inspect what it’s doing. I can stop the table movement with space/feedhold, and temporarily turn off the coolant, but what’s the best way to stop the spindle?
The stop button resets the program, so I don’t want to do that. Is setting the RPM slider to 0% a reasonable strategy? Is there a better way?
