It’s a busy week preparing for the Maker Market, but important to still take time to give thanks to our veterans. Thank you for your service to our country and this community.

I saw this post that highlights restaurants around town giving out a free meal in thanks today. I hope some of you are able to enjoy some of these small acts of gratitude across town.

“Semper Fi”. In combat, Marines win. In a spelling contest, not so much. That’s why the had to shorten " Sempura Fidelis" to “Semper Fi”.

I was not smart enough to be a Oorah Jarhead Marine. I could spell and read a map so I went Navy, got tired of water so switched to Army. Was an honor to serve this country. Would do it again if I have the chance!
