I’ve red tagged the large Powermatic belt sander. The calibration has gotten dangerously off again, placing the table about twenty steps too high! Short term, it will be down until a steward can reset the height of the calibration pedestal. Long term, a new mechanism needs to be created so this stops recurring.
I went ahead and machined the needed spacer. The thickness calibration seems about right, and It shouldn’t be possible to force it off anymore.
