@JoeN can these metal drawers be welded together perhaps? The shelves they sit on are completely open except for the divider/support going don the middle. meaning 3 have a completely open shelf on either side. If I wanted to cut the sides off of 2 drawers would it be possible to weld the bottom, back, and fronts parts together to make one larger drawer?
It is possible. It is a bit of work to do so.
