As of this week (Sep 7) we are beginning our contract with Frontier Waste Solutions and our JJ’s waste and recycling contract is being cancelled.
There is a large roll-up dumpster between the metal shop and woodshop bay doors that can be used for disposing nearly anything. Some key things NOT to dispose of: chemicals and tires. Check the link for more details.
Woodshop
This means trash bags are not needed for woodshop trash anymore. Use at your discretion. All sawdust and wood scraps can be disposed of in the roll-off dumpster.
Lasers
You will soon get a smaller trash can. If the scraps fit in that can then it’s okay. If the scraps are too large for the can, or are thicker than 1/2" material, then they must go in the roll-off dumpster.
Recycling
We still have a recycling dumpster on each side of the building for things like cardboard and cans. Please use them.
